CyberSecurity - CyberWarfare: A Primer for Business – Government – Family Attacks and Defence

The intent of this publication by the author is not to provide an exhaustive look into cybersecurity but to be a light intro for people who are looking to get into the field or business owners, executives, and board members who want to understand the gravity of the situation we are dealing with, without getting into a long-drawn-out technical discussion. It is also not intended for an audience with a level of sophistication regarding their knowledge of the subject.

This author intends to convey a 50,000-foot view into this world, as there are already many books and publications on this subject.

Too often, we see IT groups buying technology and thinking it is the magic bullet that will solve everything. If this is your current strategy, it is almost guaranteed to fail. Cybersecurity covers all aspects of our lives in ways that can be difficult to imagine. The threats to individuals, public and private organizations, and Governments are staggering.

As of this writing, the current events have unfortunately proven what many of us have been saying for decades about how intrusive these threats are.
